A collision in Mississippi resulted in the death of a woman and the injury of three children.
Myeshia Nelson, 52 years old, came from Ashland, Mississippi, according to the Mississippi Highway Patrol, which identified the woman.
Over the course of Wednesday evening, a single car was involved in an accident on Interstate 22 in Benton County.
Mr. Nelson’s SUV went off the road and collided with a tree, according to the MHP. Her death occurred at the scene of the collision.
The third child was taken to the hospital in New Albany by medical personnel, while the other two children were airlifted to the Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
It is not known what their current circumstances are.
