WhatsApp launches the ‘padlock mode’ that protects the privacy of messages

The information has been revealed by the specialized media WABetaInfo, noting that a new button with a lock icon will appear in the Meta messaging service applications positioned next to the chat bar next to the ‘Send’ section.

How will the ‘padlock mode’ work in WhatsApp

By pressing this padlock button, the message sent through WhatsApp will arrive in ‘text view’, that is, once it is seen by the contact, it will disappear, guaranteeing the privacy of the conversation.

According to WhatsApp, the function will be very useful when users share important information that they want to immediately delete from the recipient’s phone automatically.
