EVs will be able to charge their car for free at Tesla Supercharger network chargers on Tuesday, August 29, whether they own a Tesla or another electric vehicle.

Electric car owners can charge their car with Tesla Superchargers completely free of charge, whether they own a Tesla or a car of any other brand, thanks to a special promotion called “Electric Summer”.

With this special event, Tesla wants to celebrate the first anniversary of its presence in the European market. Exactly ten years ago, the first six Tesla charging stations opened in Norway.

The offer is valid today, Tuesday, August 29, from 8:00 to midnight, charging will begin no later than 23:59.

The one-day promotion applies to all Superchargers in the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway. , Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the UK.

There are currently seven such points operating in the Czech Republic, namely in Vestce, Lovosice, on the D1 highway near Humpolec, near Kamenny Uyezd, in Pilsen, Olomouc and Modřice.

Tesla recalls that its Tesla Supercharger network has already expanded to 36 countries in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, there are about a thousand charging centers with a total of about 13,000 charging points. Until recently, only Tesla models, i.e. Model S, 3, X and Y, could be charged at charging stations.

Elon Musk, the founder of the car company, has already said that he wants chargers to gradually become available for other electric vehicles. In 2021, the first Tesla Supercharger in the Netherlands was opened to other manufacturers, by the end of this year, almost three-quarters of Tesla chargers in Europe will be able to add electricity to any electric vehicle.
