Production has begun on the new Verstappen trophy and the two-time world champion Dutch rider has now revealed on his Instagram page that he has received his well-deserved trophy.

During the announcement of the results of the Hungarian Grand Prix, Lando Norris inadvertently hit a bottle of champagne on the podium, causing the winner of the race, that is, a special part made for Max Verstappen, to fall and crash.

In early August, Herend Porcelánmanufaktúra Zrt began production of the new Max Verstappen trophy. More than thirty people worked on the original hand-made creation for almost half a year, but since the shapes, patterns and colors did not have to be redone, the process of re-production became shorter.

On Tuesday, the Dutch pilot received the Herendi trophy, and the presentation was attended by Dr. Simon Attila, CEO of Herendi Porcelánmanufaktúra Zrt., and the captured destroyer Lando Norris, who himself presented the trophy to the Red Bull pilot.

The “award ceremony” was even filmed, at the end of which you can see that the British pilot was even jokingly handed a bill for his previous crash, which costs 40,000 euros.
