The Ukrainian army has penetrated deeper into the Russian defenses near Robotina, the release of which Kyiv announced the day before, army spokesman Andriy Kovalev said on Tuesday.
“The Ukrainian army has achieved success in the Novodanilovka-Verbovo direction,” Kovalev said.
He added that the Ukrainians are strengthening their positions and attacking Russian artillery.
