Two Colorado Men Identified After Dying During Rafting Trip on Upper Selway River

Two men who were rafting on the Upper Selway River have had their names made public by the authorities.

According to the Idaho County Coroner’s Office, the deceased individuals were identified as Daniel Triantafillow, who was 41 years old, and Matthew Lane, who was 35 years old. The state of Colorado was their home.

If the coroner’s office is to be believed, their deaths took place on Saturday. Investigations are still being conducted to determine the reasons of death.

Triantafillow and Lane were described as being a part of a rafting group, according to the Idaho County Sheriff’s Office.

They passed away at a part of the river that was located between Double Drop and Wa-poots Rapids. Because of the difficult location, their bodies were not found until Sunday due to the difficulty of the situation.
