The first date of the eight groups of the Qatar 2022 World Cup ended this Thursday which left 41 goals in 16 games, an average of 2.56 converted every 90 minutes. those many they were marked by 35 footballers and six of them achieved a double, so they lead the table of gunners with 32 of the 48 games to go to conclude the initial stage.

Those who had the luxury of celebrating twice are almost all strikers: Enner Valencia (Ecuador), Mehdi Taremi (Iran), Ferran Torres (Spain), Olivier Giroud (France) and richarlison (Brazil). The exception is Bukayo Saka (England), who plays as a midfielder.

Gareth Bale (Wales) and Cristiano Ronaldo (Portugal) scored one each, but both were historic. The Welshman was the first goal in 64 years for his country, whose previous participation in World Cups was in Sweden in 1958. The Portuguese, for his part, became the only footballer to score in five World Cups: Germany 2006, South Africa 2010 , Brazil 2014, Russia 2018 and Qatar 2022.
