The body of a 20-year-old young man who had been reported as kidnapped last night, Saturday, in Carolina, was found on the side of the road in the La Central neighborhood, in Canovanas.
According to Policeman, the body of the young man, identified as Abraham Ezequiel Collazo Rents, was found at dawn today, Sunday, by relatives who were looking for him.
The events date back to 10:00 pm on Saturday, when a person reported that four armed and masked individuals in a white Hyundai Tucson shot Collazo Rentas and forcibly mounted him in the vehicle.
On the scene, in Villa Esperanza, agents attached to the Criminal Investigation Corps (CIC) of Carolina found bullet casings and blood. Technical Services personnel collected evidence at the scene.
Then, at around 2:30 am today, the authorities reported the discovery of the body of Collazo Rentas, who had a criminal record for violations of Law 8 and the Weapons Law.
The body had multiple bullet wounds, according to the Uniformed. There, too, bullet casings were raised.
Agent Lianis Martínez González, from the CIC’s Homicide Division, took over the investigation together with the prosecutor Carlos Sánchez, from the Carolina Prosecutor’s Office.
