They explain why Mario Party Superstars has not been censored despite this comparison – Nintenderos

From YouTube we get an interesting video starring one of the most prominent titles currently among Nintendo Switch players. It is effectively Mario Party Superstars.

In the short that we leave you next, GameXplain explains why the game is not censored. Recently a message has gone viral where it seemed to be appreciated that the butts of the penguins in one of the minigames had been replaced by normal sleds.

However, the truth is that Nintendo has not censored the game, but has taken as a reference to recreate this minigame the version present in the first Mario Party, where the sleds had no drawing. It’s in Mario Party 2 that these butt-backed penguins appeared, but the Mario Party Superstars minigame is not based on that installment, so they haven’t really been censored.

Some fans think Nintendo is avoiding using the butts in their games, but others have reminded us of the following rug in Animal Crossing: New Horizons:
