Also on Tuesday, meteorologists released an orange heat code for the south of Crisana, Banat, Oltenia, Muntenia, in the southern half of Moldova and the west of Dobruja, where the maximum temperatures will be fixed at a level of 37-39 degrees. The red code for extreme temperatures, especially pronounced thermal discomfort, will be introduced on Wednesday in the counties of Teleorman, Giurgiu, Ilfov, Calarasi, Ialomita, Braila, Galati, in the west of Constanta county and in the city of Bucharest. Extreme maximum temperatures of 40…42 degrees will be recorded here, and temperature discomfort will be especially pronounced.
In the south of Oltenia, the north of Muntenia, the northwest of Dobruja, as well as in the center and southwest of Moldova, orange heat will be observed, and the maximum temperatures in general will be 37…39 degrees, so the temperature discomfort will increase.
