Russia accused Ukraine of drone attacks on two houses in Moscow.
The Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement that the drone attack was repelled and that there were no casualties.
State news agency TASS reported that a drone crashed near the Defense Ministry.
Kyiv’s statements regarding the attack have not yet been received.
“The Kiev regime attempted a terrorist attack in Moscow using two drones,” the Russian Defense Ministry said in a Telegram message. The ministry said the attack was “blocked”.
Moscow Governor Sergei Sobyanin said non-residential buildings were shelled.
The wreckage of the drone was found on Komsomolsky Prospekt, TASS reports. The published photos show that traffic in the area is closed.
Earlier this month, Russia announced that Ukraine had once again launched a drone strike on Moscow. In May, Kyiv denied accusations that it had carried out drone strikes on the Kremlin.
This week, Russia suspended an agreement between the UN and Turkey that allowed the safe passage of Ukrainian grain through the Black Sea.
Just hours after Russia announced it was suspending the agreement on Monday, it launched attacks on the Ukrainian ports of Odessa and Nikolaev.
Then, in the middle of the week, rocket attacks were launched on the granaries and ports of Odessa.
There were also attacks on the port of Chernomorsk on the Black Sea coast.
Odessa military spokesman Sergei Bratchuk said the scope of the attacks was very broad.
The Minister of Agriculture of Ukraine said that as a result of rocket attacks, 60,000 tons of Ukrainian grain were destroyed.
