The Russian Ministry of Defense on August 29 released a video of a rocket attack on a Ukrainian train with weapons on the front line in Donetsk in eastern Ukraine.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, Russian intelligence spotted the train as it entered a loading and unloading station in Donetsk, eastern Ukraine, on August 29. Russian forces then used surface-to-surface missiles to hit the train before Ukrainian soldiers could unload weapons and ammunition.

“The reconnaissance unit determined the coordinates of the target and transmitted the information to the operator of the ground-based missile system for an accurate strike. As a result, the Ukrainian military train was completely destroyed. 30 enemy soldiers were withdrawn from the battle ring, 10 military equipment was destroyed,” the report says.

However, the Russian Defense Ministry did not disclose the details of the attack site.

Ukraine has not yet commented on this information.

Recently, Russia has repeatedly announced raids on a Ukrainian train with military supplies.

Moscow also announced last week that it had used Iskander missiles to attack a Ukrainian weapons train in the Dnepropetrovsk region. As a result of the raid, a series of Kyiv military equipment was destroyed, more than 200 soldiers died.

The Russian Defense Ministry said yesterday that the Russian navy had attacked with long-range missiles, destroying Ukraine’s aviation arsenal and other military equipment.
