Paris Saint-Germain’s €80m bid for Randal Kolo Muani was reportedly turned down by Eintracht Frankfurt.
According to Sky Sports, the German club has rejected PSG’s latest offer for the French striker, which would have required the club to pay €70m (£60.57m/$75.67m) upfront and €10m in bonuses. Eintracht Frankfurt remain adamant that they want 100m euros (£86m/$109m) for his services and won’t accept anything less.
Both clubs will continue negotiations to reach an agreement on Kolo Muani before the transfer window closes on 1 September. Earlier it was reported that the striker had reached a verbal agreement with PSG, which could help the Parisians to agree on a lower price for the striker.
The report also mentions that if PSG include Hugo Ekitike in the deal, Eintracht may soften their stance. However, the Eagles are not ready to cover Ekitika’s full salary, so the player has to take a pay cut to join the Bundesliga club on loan.
