Players are already counting down the days and hours until they can play. star field and see for yourself whether it really contains the minimum number of errors, as several sources claim. Meanwhile, however, some players are frustrated by the limitations of planetary exploration.
Todd Howard has pointed this out before, but he put it next to it when he talked about exploration of places around the player. After a recent leak, the words of the head of Bethesda Game Studios take on more meaning. It turned out that it will be impossible to circle the entire planet.
Seems like every planet has its limits. For some this is considered 40 minutes, for others it may be significantly less (for a “dead” planet with sand and rocks it is 10 minutes), and for others it may be more where you can go one way. before you reach the limits the game won’t let go
The developers had planets can be divided into regions and it will be possible to explore the one in which you land on the ship. Then, of course, you can land at another point and proceed to further exploration …
The division into regions brings one thing that worries me personally. This can be seen in the video below. It looks like if you start exploring the planet around the city, you will have to land on it to get to it later. Luckily, you can always teleport to the ship and start landing somewhere else. This is possible almost everywhere. Each planet will have main landing sites, where there are major attractions, such as the city. What you cannot do is land on the water. They say that some have already tried it, tried to swim, which is also impossible. Instead, the character walks on water (second video below). He can even jump into the water.
Not to end on a very negative note, according to some, the planets should not be so barren. Yes, they look dead, maybe just covered in sand and rocks, but they’re still pretty fun to explore (it’s supposed to be Star Trek-like) and they have some interesting places. Unfortunately, they have not yet been specified in more detail.
The question is whether all the information is true, because it is not entirely clear whether the player who reported this restriction was in the training zone. Therefore, we recommend taking the leak with a grain of salt. On the other hand, more and more players are gradually talking about him on social networks.
