On July 22, “Prāta Vētra” completed a two-year concert tour with a grand show at Liepaja’s “Daugava” stadium. The concert “Year without a calendar” in Liepaja brought together about 25,000 residents of Liepaja and guests of the city.

“Indescribable in words! Thanks to everyone who was with us at the concert in Liepaja! We put these feelings in our pocket and remember them when the wind blows us off the road! Let’s have a rest and continue,” says the Prāta Vētras team.

The meeting in the windy city of Liepaja was exciting both for the musicians themselves and for the public from all over Latvia. In a concert full of surprises, “Prāta Vētra” performed both their most popular hits and songs from their latest mini-album. “Pagalmi”, “Karalienes walsis” and at the culmination of the concert – “Pasta pigeon” with impressive fireworks over an almost 20-meter stage.

The concert also featured young pop and hip hop artist Boo, who was not only a special guest before “Brainstorm” but also performed the song “Lantern” with the band. “Prāta Vētra” would like to thank all the guests of the concert – Ansim, “Tautumeitas”, Kristine Page, Gustavo and Don. “Many thanks also to the talented musicians who breathe in the same rhythm with us – bass guitarist Ingars Vilums, percussion and drums master Nelli Bubudyanka, guitarist Uldis Beitinyas and excellent backing vocalists – Gabriela Zvaigznite, Linda Aneta Rushenets and Una Daniela Aizgaila. The feeling of the holiday was strengthened by emotional video projections, on which one could once again enjoy the goals of the hockey players and the successful matches of the team.

Like other concerts of the “Year Without a Calendar” tour, Ukrainians who fled the war and found their home in Latvia were invited to the concert in Liepaja. More than 150 Ukrainians from different cities of Latvia came to Liepaja to enjoy together the amazing power of “Prāta Vētra” melodies. A particularly emotional moment at the concert was the song “Spoguīt, spoguīt”, performed by Janis Jubalts, turning the already familiar “light lake” for the audience into a “sea of light”.

Friends of “Prāta Vētras” – the insurance and technology company “Balcia” – took care of the comfort and entertainment of the spectators, who not only organized a special fan flight from Riga to Liepaja and back, “meet & greet” – a meeting of fans with the group, but also provided a guarded free parking lot for City Combo cars right at the entrance to the stadium. Also, by downloading the new application “Balcha”, the concert visitors had the opportunity to receive gifts from “Balchia” and “Prata Vetra”.
