An accident involving many vehicles that occurred on Wednesday has resulted in the death of one individual, according to officials with the Gulfport Police Department.
According to the information provided by the coroner for Harrison County, Brian Switzer, the collision occurred at approximately 5:45 p.m. near the intersection of Highway 49 and Dedeaux Road.
In addition to three other automobiles, a motorcycle was involved in the collision. The motorcyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene of the accident as a consequence of this.
The identify of the individual is being suppressed as the authorities seek to contact their nearest of kin.
There were two additional people involved who were sent to the hospital. Their injuries, according to the authorities, are not considered to be life-threatening.
