Corey Kluber has become a new player for the Tampa Bay Rays according to various reports released on the morning of this Sunday, November 28. The veteran pither was available in the free agency market after playing the 2021 MLB Season with the New York Yankees.
Various outlets such as journalist Ken Rosenthal reported that Corey Kluber and the Tampa Bay Rays would have reached an agreement for one year and an economic amount for $ 8 million of dollars.
The reports add that the negotiation has a clause that establishes that if the veteran manages to pitch during the entire season, the sum could increase to $ 13 million.
Kluber has not been able to pitch an entire season since 2018 with the now Cleveland Guardians, the year in which he was also named an All-Star player and after winning the Cy Young in 2017.
