Motorola has released a new mid-range phone that costs less than 300 euros and comes with features that we seem to know from other phones of the past. telephone Moto G84 it has already received teasers in India and is now making its official debut.
The Moto G84 is powered by a rather outdated Snapdragon 695 processor, which, however, is equipped with a 5G modem and support for shooting in 4K. On the front is a 6.55-inch OLED screen, one 10-bit, with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a touch sampling rate of 240Hz. Motorola promises brightness up to 1300 nits.
Here in the center is a hole for a selfie camera, 16-megapixel with f / 2.45 aperture. There are two more cameras on the back compared to the three that the Moto G82 had. The main one has a resolution of 50 MP, a pixel size of 1 micron and an aperture of F / 1.88. Thankfully, it offers optical stabilization and Dual PDAF, as well as an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera with a 118-degree field of view and no autofocus.
Both cameras support 4K recording at 30fps and have automatic night vision. Moto G84 supports Dolby Atmos and Moto Spatial Sound through stereo speakers. It runs Android 13 and will also receive Android 14 and 3-year security updates. It also packs a 5,000mAh battery with 30W charging, as well as Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi 6, NFC, a 3.5mm audio jack, and dual SIM card slots.
Motorola will release this product in Viva Magenta with a faux leather back. It also comes in “meringue” blue. It has a lot of RAM and internal memory: 12 GB and 256 GB, the price starts from 222 euros.
