Kansas City Woman’s SUV Lands on Guardrail in Shocking Early Morning Crash

A Kansas City lady was rushed to the hospital on Monday after her automobile became stuck on a railing following a crash.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the crash around 7:05 a.m. on May 26.

A woman from Kansas City, Missouri, was traveling on a southbound Interstate 29 ramp to northbound Interstate 35 when she veered off the right side of the road for unclear reasons. Her 2001 GMC Yukon collided with the barrier and flipped over, landing on its front and came to a stop diagonally.

Paramedics transported the 63-year-old woman to North Kansas City Hospital with moderate injuries. She was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the collision.

The GMC was totaled, and traffic on the ramp was temporarily halted as the vehicle was lifted from the guardrail.
