Wizz Air has signed a contract for 75 aircraft of the A321neo family. With this order, the airline will acquire 434 Airbus-type aircraft, which, including the A320, means 484 new aircraft for Wizz Air’s fleet.
According to Jozsef Varadi, CEO of Wizz Air, this will further strengthen their position.
With this announcement, Wizz Air further strengthens its position as the largest A321neo aircraft operator in Europe and the Middle East.

“The A321neo’s uniquely economical operation and extremely low carbon footprint underpin our commitment to offering our passengers affordable and sustainable travel experiences,” added the CEO.
Wizz Air is said to only operate Airbus type aircraft and currently has a fleet of 185 aircraft belonging to the A320 family.
The A321neo offers both extremely long range and performance.
Its noise level is almost 50 percent lower, while fuel consumption and carbon dioxide emissions are 20 percent lower compared to the previous model.
In addition, its cabin is outstanding, offering passengers one of the most comfortable flights. Around 5,200 A321neos have been ordered worldwide so far.
