On Tuesday, August 29, a Parisian court sentenced host Jean-Marc Morandini to six months’ suspended imprisonment for “sexual harassment” of a young actor. During his trial in June, the prosecution asked for a six-month suspended sentence. The court also sentenced the host of the CNews channel for “hidden work.” His lawyers immediately made it clear that he would appeal the verdict.

Jean-Marc Morandini, 58, was sentenced for encouraging young actors between the ages of 19 and 26 at the time of the events between June and September 2015 to appear nude in a web series casting under name Falcons which he was the producer. Pseudo-casting director Catherine Leclerc (actually Jean-Marc Morandini under a pseudonym) sent them emails urging them to send videos of them naked, with shaved pubes and masturbation scenes, sometimes with ejaculations.

Young actor Gabriel P. received two emails in August 2015 from the fake Katherine, signed “Mother”asking him if he is ready to have oral sex with Jean-Marc Morandini, “who is not anyone.” The young man, eager not to miss the opportunity to become an actor, replied: “Obviously, about nudity, it will not be difficult for me (…). I will obey whatever you tell me to.”
