MIAMI BEACH, Fla.- A man who officers say was once observed pleading to be let out of a Corvette he broke into on South Beach is now in trouble with Miami Beach police.
Ravesh Rabindranauth, 33, is currently accused of arbitrarily attacking a woman and a 13-year-old boy. Authorities say the incident occurred just before 9 a.m. Thursday near 15th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue.
According to the police report, Rabindranauth approached a woman and “punched her in the face,” leaving her with slashes on both lips.
Police claimed he then approached a 13-year-old youngster walking to the Fienberg Fisher K-8 Center and backhanded him across the cheek.
According to the report, the kid then witnessed him grab a stick and use it to hit a vehicle. A cop later testified in court Friday, claiming that he caused $5,000 in damage.
Officers found Rabindranauth, who is homeless, and arrested him on two charges of violence and one count of felony criminal mischief.
After being deemed a “danger to the community,” he was ordered jailed on a $75,000 bond.
