After a period of severe illness, former Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Xuan Thien (born May 15, 1958, hometown of Quang Tho Commune, Quang Dien County, Thua Thien Province of Hue; a permanent resident of District 2 of Da Nang City) Lat, Lam Dong) died in 13:15 on August 28, 2023 at his home, aged 67.

The coffin of the former secretary of the Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee is buried in his house, No. B51, Golf Valley Planning Area, District 2 (Dalat City).
The visiting ceremony will begin at 21:00 on August 28, the funeral service at 6:00 on August 31. Funeral and burial ceremony at 7 am on August 31 at the Kam Ly cemetery (Dalat city).

Mr. Nguyen Xuan Tien has been active since March 1978 and joined the party in February 1982. During his lifetime, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Tien was a member of the Central Committee of the Party for XI and XII terms; Former Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People’s Council and Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial People’s Committee.
Nguyen Xuan Tien has been awarded the Second Class Independence Medal, the First Class Labor Medal, the 40th Anniversary Membership Badge, and many other honorable orders and medals by the Party and the State.
In order to mourn and celebrate the achievements and contributions of Mr. Nguyen Xuan Tien, the Executive Committee of the Party Central Committee decided to hold Mr. Nguyen Xuan Tien’s funeral with a high-level funeral ceremony.
