Puerto Rico will have, for the first time, stores of the Fatburger and Buffalo’s Express chains.
The restaurants, from Los Angeles, California, will open in Puerto Rico after their parent company FAT (Fresh. Authentic. Tasty) Brands Inc. reached an agreement to bring 10 locations over the next five years. Concepts Restaurants LLC is leading the negotiations to bring the restaurants Fatburger and Buffalo’s Express.
“2022 has been a year of strong growth for Fatburger and Buffalo’s Express with new development deals in Alaska, Arkansas, Florida and now, Puerto Rico, and we’re only halfway through the year,” said Taylor Wiederhorn, director of development for FAT. Brands. “Quick-service concepts continue to gain popularity in Puerto Rico, and we are delighted to be able to debut on the Island with a partner likeconcepts Restaurants,” he added.
Fatburger is an institution in the Los Angeles, California area. The fast food restaurant was founded in 1947 and is known for its variety of burgers. It has the ability for the customer to customize their hamburgers and with various types of accessories, such as their Fat and Skinny Fries, sweet potato fries and handmade onion rings. It also has its Impossible™ Burger, a veggie burger, and turkey and chicken sandwiches.
For its part, Buffalo’s Express has a menu focused on chicken wings. They offer them with or without bones, along with a variety of sauces.
