Face Framing, the hair color trend that is sweeping this fall

The arrival of new seasons means, without a doubt, many changes that we have surely matured or that we have proposed during the summer time. Many of these decisions somehow imply something new in our appearance: taking care of our skin properly, following the advice of our experts, betting on a new haircut or, why not, a new hair color with a objective: to share that message of change.

Autumn is full of proposals, although initially we do not presage a season of very radical trends that condition us or require a lot of time when it comes to combing our hair or dressing. We predict a sweet, transitional season, where coloring techniques are softened.

One of these processes that has been positioning itself in recent months on the podium of top trend for being chosen at multiple parties, red carpets and photo shoots and that this fall is undoubtedly the trendiest cool to achieve a flattering tone for the face is the face framing. It is a process with which we apply a color of highlights that will bring a lot of luminosity to the face, soften features and sweeten, but it also manages to enhance those features on which we can or want to project more prominence.

It brings a lot of luminosity to the face as we strategically add touches of light to the hair”explains Fran Galán, colorist at The Beauty Concept Hair salon.

Amanda Seyfried or Jennifer Aniston are some of the celebrities who are most committed to this color trend.

What is Face Framing?

“It is a process with which we apply a color of highlights that will bring a lot of light to the face, soften features and sweeten in a general way, but it also manages to enhance those features on which we can or want to project more prominence”, explains Fran Galán, expert colorist in our salon The Beauty Concept Hair.

How is Face Framing done?

“It is a protocol that is very meticulous because touches of light are applied very strategically to the hair. The result is precious, very fresh, beautiful and, furthermore, as we have indicated, it does not require investing a lot of time in its maintenance”, explains Fran Galán.

Why has Face Framing become fashionable?

“It is true that right now it is one of the processes most in demand and carried out in salons this season, although it has different variants in its application and results, depending on the haircut and, obviously, on the health of the scalp. In addition, it has already become very fashionable due to the number of celebrities who have signed up for this color trend”.
