Hajizade made a written statement regarding the anti-Azerbaijani views expressed by Macron at the conference of ambassadors.
“MACRON’S CONDEMNATION OF THE 44-DAY HOT BATTLE IN AZERBAIJAN IS ON”
Stating that Macron’s vengeful views, which create a false impression of the current situation in the region and unilaterally protect Armenia, are detrimental to the peace process, Hajizade said:
“France, which for almost 30 years did not condemn the occupation and attacks of Armenia on Azerbaijan and did not give any assessment to the humanitarian situation of about 1 million refugees and displaced persons as a result of the occupation, has now joined the United Nations. The Charter of the People of Azerbaijan and the norms and principles of international rights. It is not clear that he adequately condemned the 44-day war of the Motherland, as a result of which his lands were liberated from occupation, and that Macron also included claims about the humanitarian situation in the region in his speech.”

Macron announced that he would meet with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan within a week and propose a new diplomatic initiative to resolve the conflict.
French President Macron also said that he would come up with a new diplomatic initiative in the international arena to increase pressure on Azerbaijan.
