Deadly Motorcycle Accident Near Palm Beach International Airport Kills 39-year-old

PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. – One individual died in a motorbike accident Sunday afternoon near Palm Beach International Airport (PBIA).

According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, a motorcycle was travelling eastbound on Belvedere Road, approaching the PBIA/North Congress Avenue light, when a GMC passenger bus driving westbound on Belvedere Road turned left onto PBIA, crossing the motorcycle’s path and causing the bike to collide with the bus’s rear fender.

The crash report states that both vehicles had a green light.

The biker, identified as 39-year-old Daniel Ducos of Boynton Beach, was taken to St. Mary’s Medical Centre and confirmed dead from his injuries. According to the accident report, Ducos was wearing a helmet at the time of the collision.
