Chema Rodriguez, former coach of the Portuguese handball team Benfica, will become the full captain of the Hungarian national team – Laszlo Nagy, sports director of Telekom Veszprém, who is also responsible for the professional management of the men’s team in the Hungarian national team of the Handball Association, as confirmed in an interview with the Handball program on channel “Sport” has already changed.

“She came to Hungary with her family last Sunday, the kids went to school, so they are slowly starting to pick up again in Hungary. They are here in the capital, settled here for the duration of their contract, which we hope will last for a long time. On Tuesday next week I will have a three-way meeting with him and the technical manager of the national team about the continuation. We would like to involve him as much as possible in daily work for the benefit of Hungarian handball.”

By the way, Rodriguez’s contract with Benfica has just expired.

Speaking about Veszprem, Nagy said that they want to reach the final four of the Champions League, and in Hungary the goal to achieve is to win the Cup and the Hungarian Championship, as they did last season. However, in his opinion, Telekom Veszprem cannot train young Hungarians in the first team for such purposes. (National sport)
