Artist Bobby Joseph was arrested by the South Jakarta Metro Police Narcotics Unit. Bobby Joseph was arrested for possession of synthetic tobacco.
“Yes, that’s right, Bobby Joseph,” Compol Ahmad Ardi, head of drug investigation at the South Jakarta Police Department, said when asked to confirm on Monday (July 24, 2023).
Ardy said that Bobby was arrested at his residence in Siner, Depok on Friday (21/7) at night. He was arrested after allegedly using and possessing synthetic tobacco.
“In his house in Ciner. Friday evening. He uses it, but he keeps it,” he said.
The police also received evidence of synthetic tobacco. Currently, Bobby is still under investigation by the South Jakarta Metro Police for an existing case.
“It weighs 0.45 grams. This is a synthetic tobacco peel, laboratory tests have been carried out. And it is positive, this is synthetic tobacco,” he said.
Bobby Joseph was previously arrested by police in 2021. At the time, he was arrested in a methamphetamine case.
