President of the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) Luis Rubiales still under pressure after kissing a soccer player. Now the RFEF regional presidents are asking Rubiales to step down.
The incident where Rubiales kissed Jenny Hermoso, a Spanish women’s team player, at the 2023 Women’s World Cup. Rubiales did it while winning the winner’s medal.
The RFEF president’s kiss, which Jenny later claimed was without her consent, continued. Rubiales’ actions were found to be illegal. He also continues to be in the spotlight.

“After a series of inappropriate incidents and actions that damaged the image of Spanish football, the presidents (of the regional RFEFs) are demanding that Luis Rubiales resign as president of the RFEF as soon as possible,” the committee said in a statement.
