Police spokeswoman Sharka Pizhlova said the 24-year-old foreigner crashed on Montenegrinska Street in the town of Svoboda nad Upou shortly before 9 a.m. on Tuesday. He left the road and crashed into a concrete pillar that is part of the house.
The driver did not survive the impact, he was alone in the car. As part of the investigation, the police appointed a forensic medical examination, and are also looking for witnesses to clarify the causes of the driver’s tragic maneuver.
Police are asking all bystanders or drivers who were passing the site at the time and have recording devices in their cars for information that will help clarify the circumstances of the tragic incident. “Let them call the toll-free number 158,” Pizhlova urged.
