Starting this Monday, Spain will face a week with very unstable weather due to the arrival of a DANA (Isolated Depression at High Levels) that will leave strong storms and heavy rain events throughout the country, as well as a general increase in temperatures.
As reported by the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET), the first week of October will be marked by cold mornings especially in the north and days of summer temperatures, which will exceed 30 degrees in much of the country. Likewise, the rains will be the main protagonists in the southeast until Wednesday and will spread to the east and the Balearic Islands from Thursday.
As to #rains, we will have to pay attention to the possible strong showers that will fall in the Mediterranean regions from Wednesday and especially on Thursday. There is also a probability of thunderstorms on the summits of #Tenerifeespecially on Tuesday. pic.twitter.com/rAU3NujHbn

This Monday, October 3, up to 33 degrees can be registered in Córdoba, 32 in Badajoz and Seville and 31 in Lérida, Cáceres, Orense and Toledo. In this regard, Rubén del Campo, spokesman for the AEMET, has warned that the daytime temperatures will be higher than normal.
“The maximum temperatures will be between five and ten degrees above normal in much of the interior of the Peninsula, although also again with a cool atmosphere at dawn,” he pointed out after warning of the large thermal amplitude inside between the early hours of the morning and the early hours of the afternoon.
Likewise, it has warned that instability will increase in the Mediterranean area and DANA will give rise to cloudy skies in the southeast of the peninsula and the Balearic Islands, with showers that will be locally strong.
On Tuesday, the DANA will move to the east and there may be stormy showers generally isolated in points of the provinces of Granada and Almería, in the mountains of Albacetepoints in the Region of Murcia, in the south of the Valencian Community and in the Balearic Islands, except on the island of Menorca, where it does not seem that there will be showers.
In the rest of the country on Tuesday there will be clear skies and temperatures will rise in the southern half, while they will be somewhat lower in the Mediterranean and will not change much in the rest. “We will continue with maximum temperatures on Tuesday above 28 p 30ºC in many areas of the Peninsula and above 32ºC in a good part of Extremadura and western Andalusia,” he added in this regard.
Looking ahead to Wednesday, the spokesman summarizes that it will be a similar day, with DANA located over Algeria and a greater probability of showers will be in the south of the Valencian Community, in the Region of Murcia and also in Ibiza and Formentera.
