Melbourne police are still investigating two motorcycle crashes, one of which resulted in a fatality, that slowed traffic in and around two regularly trafficked areas on Wednesday, May 28.

One of the instances occurred shortly after 12:30 p.m., north of Nasa Boulevard on U.S. 1. Melbourne police closed both the north and southbound lanes of the route. Police claimed that traffic homicide investigators were dispatched to the scene after the biker was pronounced deceased.

A second motorbike crash occurred at Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and NASA Boulevard, near Melbourne Orlando International Airport.

According to police, the rider in that incident was critically hurt.

All roads are now clear.
